Balinese massage originated in Bali, an island where touch is treated as an art for restoring harmony and balance. Its techniques arose from a combination of Ayurveda, Chinese medicine and ancient Javanese healing methods. Over the centuries, the Balinese massage has served not only as a method of regenerating the body, but also as a ceremony to purify and strengthen vital energy.
At NUSA SPA in Warsaw, the Balinese massage in the version for couples is a celebration of intimacy – two people simultaneously experience the touch of Bali Therapists, who guide the body towards relaxation and inner harmony. It’s a ritual that soothes, relaxes and gives space to pause together in the daily rush.
Balinese massage combines stroking, pressure, acupressure and stretching elements. Thanks to the variety of techniques, the treatment has a multidimensional effect – it relaxes tensions, promotes circulation, harmonizes the flow of energy and restores emotional balance.
Performed synchronously by two certified Bali Therapists, it brings both people into a similar rhythm of breathing and relaxation. The massage encompasses the whole body, and its pace and strength are adjusted to individual needs – it can be performed in a gentle, deeply relaxing version, as well as in a medium intensity, stimulating and energizing version.
Experiencing this ritual together gives the couple not only relief for the body, but also a sense of unity and harmony.
The receptionist conducts a brief consultation, during which preferences for massage intensity and areas of concern are determined. The couple is then invited to a prepared office.
The massage takes place on professional tables, in disposable underwear provided on site.
The ritual begins with smooth relaxing movements that bring the body into a state of relaxation. Gradually, the Therapists combine stroking with acupressure and stretching, moving through successive parts of the body – back, arms, legs, feet, as well as face and head. The whole process takes place to the rhythm of breathing and calm music, allowing deep harmony to be achieved.
The treatment ends with a moment of tranquility, after which the couple can return to reality in peace and prolong the relaxation in the brine graduation tower.

Contraindications to massage
Balinese massage, although a safe and beneficial ritual, is not advisable for certain ailments. Contraindications include febrile states, infections and acute inflammation – at such times the body needs a different kind of rest.
Massage is not performed with active skin diseases, wounds and irritation. The procedure is not recommended for people with fresh injuries, fractures or in recovery from surgery.
It should not be used by pregnant women, those suffering from serious cardiovascular diseases, heart disease or hypertension. Caution is also advisable after aesthetic medicine procedures, which require time for recovery.

Promotional packages include interchangeable Balinese massage, Thai massage, Balinese massage with warm oils, bamboo relaxation massage and lomi-lomi massage with aromatherapy.
Promotional Packages are issued in paper form and can be used until the end of the validity period indicated in their content. If the validity of a Promotional Package is specified as a number of months from the date of purchase of the Promotional Package, the Promotional Package shall be valid until the expiration of the number of months specified in the Package, calculated from the month following the month of purchase. Promotional Packages may also be issued in electronic form, in which case (except for vouchers) they are subject to exchange for the corresponding Promotional Packages in paper form during the first visit to the NUSA SPA Massage Parlor. Promotional Packages are not exchangeable in whole or in part for money, and the indicated validity period is not extended, and upon its expiration NUSA SPA’s obligation to the Customer expires.
Promotional packages do not combine with other promotions, nor do they add up. A customer can only use one of them at a time.
For Quota Vouchers, if the value of the goods or services exceeds the value of the Voucher, the Customer is required to pay the difference. Quota Vouchers do not include promotional prices.
With the purchase or receipt of the Promotional Package, its purchaser or holder declares that he/she has read these Regulations, accepts their provisions in full and agrees to abide by them.
Promotional packages are subject to use in the network of NUSA SPA salons, unless otherwise stated in their content.
The Promotional Package holder is required to book the service in advance. The basis for the performance of the promotional service is the prior provision of the Promotional Package number to the salon staff.
The Exhibitor has the right to refuse to redeem the Promotional Package in case of 1) expiration of the Promotional Package, 2) loss or damage of the Promotional Package making it unidentifiable, or 3) lack of prior reservation of the treatment date at the salon. The Exhibitor also has the right to exclude particular selected days or periods from the Promotional Packages (but not more than a total of 12 calendar days per year). The following days are always excluded from the use of the Voucher or Pass: February 14 and 15, March 08, May 1 and 3, December 31.
After each treatment, the Client is obliged to ensure that the Salon Reception staff marks the given Promotional Package with the NUSA hologram and labels it with the date of use of the treatment. It is forbidden to apply the markings and fill in the dates yourself.
Massages lasting less than the amount of time indicated in the respective Promotional Package are not subject to credit under the respective promotion. Massages lasting longer than indicated in the respective Promotional Package are only subject to credit in the amount of time indicated in the respective Promotional Package. If a Promotional Package is used by a Package owner together with a companion, both of them may take advantage of the credit of the Massage taken for the Promotional Package according to the rules in the preceding sentences.
The purchaser, the recipient or any other designated person is entitled to use the Voucher by prior arrangement with the NUSA Salon Reception.
